Debra "Debbie" Ann Loeser Stagg, 54, of Wooton, Kentucky, formerly of Somerset, met her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 12, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Debbie was born on February 25, 1956 in Somerset, Kentucky and was a 1974 Somerset High School Alumni. She worked as a pre-school teacher and librarian for several years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Debbie was a former member of Grace Baptist Church in Somerset, Kentucky and is now a member of First Baptist Church Wooton in Wooton, Kentucky, where her husband is pastor. Debbie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jeffrey B. Stagg of Wooton, KY, one daughter, Shannon & (David) Kessinger of Louisville, KY, one son, James & (Stacy) Stagg of Somerset, four grandchildren, Riley, Kaden, Leah and Dylan Kessinger, all of Louisville, KY, her mother, Wilma Tucker of Somerset, her mother-in-law, Marie Stagg of Louisville, KY, step mother, Doris Loeser of Science Hill, sister-in-law, Rosie & (Ronnie) Dalton of Louisville, KY, niece, Amber & (Mark) Whitaker of Louisville, KY, great-niece, Kyra Vaught of Louisville, KY, great-nephew, Keegan Whitaker, Louisville, KY, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, who will miss her greatly. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Loeser, step father, Boyd Tucker, father-in-law, James "Jim" Stagg, an infant sister, her grandparents, four uncles, Walter, Wallace and Charles Singleton and Ricky Loeser and cousin, Wally Singleton. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, July 16, 2010 at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Bill Haynes officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home and after 11 AM Friday at Grace Baptist Church. Donations may be made to the Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, Somerset, KY, First Baptist Church Wooton, Wooton, KY or the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan in Debbie's Memory. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
