Norma Jean Taylor, 66, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Bethelridge, Kentucky on March 22, 1944, daughter of the late Ira and Ora Watson Spears. She was a professional housekeeper and a member of Trinity Fellowship Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Taylor, two sons, James Wesley and Phillip Hill and one daughter, Pam Mofield, all of Science Hill, five brothers, Stanley Spears of North Vernon, IN, Lewis Spears and Tom Spears, both of Somerset, Willis Spears of North Vernon, IN and Dale Spears of Yosemite, KY, four sisters, Freeda Wesley and Beulah Denham, both of Cincinnati, OH and Stella Walker and Mary Lou Arnett, both of North Vernon, IN and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Michael Scott Hill and two brothers, Delbert Spears and Homer Spears. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Burnett officiating. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
