Carol Rae Lay-Davis, 58, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky on May 11, 1952, daughter of Fred Jr. and Hester Wesley Lay. Carol spent most of her life in Hamilton and was a devout Christian who attended many churches during her residences in Ohio and Florida.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Davis, whom she married on October 3, 1992, two children, Michael (Martin Ulloa) Lay of Orlando, FL and Don-Nichole Rae Lay of Hamilton, her mother, Hester Lay-Bales of Cincinnati, OH, Michael's best friend, Leah Bryan of Hamilton, three grandchildren, Charles Simmons, Michael Simmons and Marcus Simmons, one sister, Kim Home McMahon of Cincinnati, OH, aunt, Margaret E. Wesley of Cincinnati, OH, five nieces and nephews, David, Amanda and Brian Wesley and Stefani and Daniel McMahon and one brother, Bill Wesley.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, William and Zelma Wesley.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Science Hill Cemetery.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
