Vonnie E. Bressler

Vonnie E. Bressler, 74, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on March 1, 1936, daughter of the late Charlie and Lena Phelps Sears. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Jacob C. Bressler of Somerset, three daughters, Sandra P. Strunk of Wilmore, KY and Patricia A. Clark and Robin L. Meadows, both of McCreary County, KY, four brothers, Carlos Sears of Muncie, IN, James Sears and John Sears, both of Somerset and Ray Sears of Shopville, fourteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Janet Marie Bressler, three brothers, Bennie Sears, Bill William Sears and Arnold Ezra Sears and one sister who died in infancy, Rebecca Marie Sears. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, July 26, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Watts officiating. Burial will be in Wesley's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
