Lema Alberta Hoseclaw

Lema Alberta Hoseclaw, daughter of the late Robert A. and Maudie May Estes Blevins, was born in Eubank, Kentucky on June 8, 1923 and departed this life on October 25, 2006 at the age of 83 years. She retired from Cowdens of Stanford after 25 years and was of the christian faith. She is survived by her children, Melvin & (Barbara) Hoseclaw, Mae & (Homer Lee) Godsey, Maynard & (Shirley) Holtzclaw and Roger Dale & (Ivadean) Holtzclaw, thirteen grandchildren, forty one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Ray Hoseclaw, whom she married on April 12, 1941, her parents, two sons, Marshall Ray Hoseclaw and Marvin Lee Holtzclaw and two brothers, Clyde Hurshell Blevins and Lloyd Omen Blevins. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, October 27, 2006 at Briary Union Church with Bro. Richard West officiating. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be after 7 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
