Stanley E. Soja

Stanley E. Soja, 86, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 8, 1923, son of the late Thomasz and Tekla Ryniewska Soja. He was a truck driver for Yellow Freight. He is survived by three sons, Stanley & (Veronica) Soja, James & (Brenda) Soja and Steve & (Nicole) Soja, one daughter, Roberta & (Richard) Matvija, all of Cleveland, OH, daughter-in-law, Linda Girdler of Somerset, brother-in-law, Tim Rogers of Columbus, OH, fourteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Heddie "Lou" Louisa Soja, who died on November 28, 2008, his parents, one son, Eddie Girdler, one daughter, Linda Rogers, one brother, Al Soja and one sister, Stella Johnson. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home Bro. Bert Hall officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
