Ralph "Buddy" Mofield

Ralph "Buddy" Mofield, 75, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in King Bee, Kentucky on September 19, 1934, son of the late Ernie and Emma Spaw Mofield. He was a farmer and a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Haste Mofield, whom he married on December 30, 1954, one son, Dewayne & (Becky) Mofield of Science Hill, one brother, Donald & (Martha) Mofield of Science Hill, three sisters, Gertrude Fultz and Mildred Dykes, both of Ohio and Rosemary Godby of Science Hill and two grandchildren, Dallas Mofield and Darren Mofield, both of Science Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son and an infant daughter. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. T.J. Godby and Bro. Norman Harper officiating. Burial will be in Lizard Lope Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
