Lucille Solomon

Lucille Solomon, 93, of Somerset, passed away Monday, September 13, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Wayne County, Kentucky on April 12, 1917, daughter of the late Alvis Hayes and Leana McDaniels Decker. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters, Genevia Wiggs of Somerset, Victoria Solomon of Lexington, KY and Margaret Hall of Eubank, six grandchildren, Norman Eugene Gibson, Tracie Hall, Antonio Grate, Jaclyn Cooper, Leana Wells and Rebel Solomon, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene D. Solomon, her parents, one brother, Elijah Decker and two sisters, Gertrude Walden and Doshie Toliver. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
