Glenda Elizabeth Anderson

Glenda Elizabeth Anderson, daughter of the late Chester and Bessie Ernest Eubank Blankenship, was born in Bandy, Kentucky on July 1, 1922 and departed this life on November 4, 2006 at the age of 84 years. She was a retired postmaster and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Allen & (Patti) Anderson of Eubank, two daughters, Sue Bullock of Somerset and Debbie Mounce of Eubank, a brother, Henry & (Audrey) Blankenship of Crab Orchard, five grandsons, Barry & (Brenda) Bullock, Jamie & (Vicki) Mounce, Brad & (Mary Kay) Mounce, Jon & (Mary) Anderson and Josh & (Heather) Anderson and four great-grandchildren, Ashlee Mounce, Barron Bullock, Kaylie Bullock and Aaron Moran, two sister-in-laws, Emma Anderson of Walnut Grove and Helen &(Jimmy) Jones of Somerset. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ed Anderson, who died on October 6, 2001, her parents, a brother, Isaac & (Bernice) Blankenship and a sister, Gladys Coleman. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, November 6, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Vincent, Bro. Kyle Rader and Bro. Phil Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Memorial Fund or the Alzheimer's Association. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
