Mary Eveline Godby

Mary Eveline Godby, 78, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Clearmont County, Ohio on August 5, 1932, daughter of the late Audi T. and Doshie Frances Stephens Hodge. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Rebekah Bastin of Batavia, OH, three sisters, Margaret & (Orville) Simpson of Somerset, Patty & (Gerald) Bray of Burnside and Maze Bobbitt of Somerset, one brother, Raymond & (Dean) Brown, one granddaughter, Nika Bastin and two great-grandchildren, Noah Bastin and Aubrey Bastin. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Godby, her parents, one son, Randall Lee Bastin, one brother, Junior Hodge, one sister, Marie Zachery, one half brother, Luther Hodge and two brothers-in-law, Orville Zachery and Vernon Bobbitt. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scotty Nix officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 11 AM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
