William Thomas Hyden

William Thomas Hyden, 78, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Blue John, Kentucky on April 10, 1932, son of the late Benjamin and Viola Guinn Hyden. He was retired from Masonite Fabricators in Cincinnati, Ohio and was an avid member of Somernites Cruise. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by five children, Dennis & (Pamela) Hyden of Nancy, Kenneth Hyden of Asheville, NC, Vera Dallas of Cincinnati, OH, Brian Hyden of Louisville, KY and Dwayne Thomas of Ohio. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, including, Belinda & (Rick) Ford of Ferguson, Jon Hyden of Nancy and Kristi Hyden & (Ray Bolen) of Monticello, KY, six great-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren and very special caregiver, Mrs. Linda Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Edwin Thomas, three sisters, Alvena Hyden, Alene Dykes and Maxine Edwards and one brother, Bernard Hyden. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Sears officiating. Burial will be in Blue John Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
