Winfred Trimble

Winfred Trimble, 86, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 at The Neighborhood. He was born in Norfleet, Kentucky on November 15, 1923, son of the late Veston and Pearl Buchanan Trimble. He was a farmer and self-employed carpenter. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He is survived by one brother, Wildon "Blackie" & (Mary Lois) Trimble of Nancy, five sisters, Alene Burkett of Somerset, Irene & (Carrol Ray) Jasper of West Chester, OH, Elizabeth Norfleet of Nancy, Bernice & (Ernest) Maples of Lexington and Maretta & (Lowell) Tarter of Nicholasville, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nina L. Norfleet Trimble, who died on April 5, 2000, his parents and one sister, Daphene Simpson. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, October 14, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Lester Caldwell and Bro. Larry Harris officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
