Viola Marie Bullock

Viola Marie Bullock, daughter of the late James Walter and Lucinda Meece, was born in White Lily, Kentucky on February 16, 1921 and departed this life on November 16, 2006 at the age of 85 years. She was a homemaker. She is survived by a grandson, Odis Eldridge of Florence, Kentucky, two brothers, Charles Meece of Tennessee and Buddy G. Meece of Indiana, three sisters, Betty Harris and Zona Meece both of Somerset and Mary Mitchell of Ohio, two great-grandchildren, Melissa Ard Adams and Michael Ard and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oddren Mason Bullock, whom she married on June 14, 1941 and who died on January 6, 1990, a son, Lester M. Bullock, who died on March 6, 1942, two daughters, Joyce Marie Eldridge, who died on August 12, 1984 and Shirley L. Bullock, who died on January 13, 1953, a grandchild, Sue Ellen Ard, who died on May 17, 1991, two brothers, J.C. Meece and Leonard Meece, who died in infancy and three sisters, Rebecca Keeney, Odetta Bybee and Velma Meece, who died in infancy. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Monday, November 20, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Don Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
