Anna Lee Godbey

Anna Lee (Hudson) Godbey, daughter of Selectia (Blevins) Hudson of the Beech Grove Community and the late Dennie Hudson, was born on Aug. 5, 1940 in Pulaski Co. and departed this life on Friday, Nov. 24, 2006 at the age of 66 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Beech Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by her mother, her husband, James "Curley" Godbey, who she married on Dec. 26, 1957; two children, James Murrell &(his wife, Diane) Godbey and Vickie Eastham, both of Science Hill; two brothers, Charles &( his wife, Pat) Hudson of Jacksonville, FL and Lawrence &(his wife, Lacey) Hudson of Cincinnati, OH; a sister, Betty Jo &( her husband, Robert) Dick of Science Hill; two grandchildren, April Stephens and T. J. &( his wife, Sydney) Godbey; three great-grandchildren, Logan, Emmalee and MJ; two foster grandsons, Jason Brewer and Ian Avery, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, with Bro's. Ben Mitchell and Lester Randolph, officiating. Burial will be in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Monday evening.
