Charles Hubert Smith

Charles Hubert Smith, son of the late Ed. A. and Lola E. Todd Smith, was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on June 12, 1909 and departed this life on November 26, 2006 at the age of 97 years. He was a farmer and of the Church of Christ faith. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Ethel Littrell Smith, whom he married on December 26, 1932, three sons, Lonnie & (Alice) Smith of Blanca, Colorado, Donald & (Sally) Smith of Highland Heights, Kentucky and Glenn & (Jane) Smith of Somerset, three daughters, Evelyn & (C.J.) Gooch of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky and Frances Taylor and Irene & (Benny) Robertson both of Newport, Kentucky, a brother, John & (Marie) Smith of Dayton, Ohio, ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, William Smith, four brothers, Norbert, George, Millard and William Smith and five sisters, Ollie, Elizabeth, Eula, Zula and Lucille. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday, December 1, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Carter officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Friday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy go to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Dr., Somerset, KY 42503.
