Arlie Lee Padgett

Arlie Lee Padgett, 71, of Stanford, KY, passed away, Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Stanford, Kentucky. He was born in Waynesburg, Kentucky on February 13, 1939, son of the late Hubert and Rosie Adams Padgett. He was a farmer and attended Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Wilma Stickler Padgett, four children, Michael & (Amy) Padgett of Danville, KY, Kellie Miracle & (Mike) of Waynesburg, Rose & (Delbert) Durham of Stanford and Dennise & (Jimmy) Wade of Perryville, KY, three brothers, Jimmy & (Janice) Padgett of Waynesburg, Roger Padgett of Daytona, FL and Shane Padgett of Waynesburg, three sisters, Joyce & (Robert) Coleman of McKinney, KY, Lucille & (Shelby) Justice of Waynesburg and Eva & (Jack) Hazlett of Stanford, KY, six grandchildren, Alexis Padgett, Matthew Slone, Trevor Miracle, Nicholas Wade, Brandon Durham and Krystal Durham and one great-grandchild, Elexis Durham. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bob Padgett and David "Tiny" Padgett. A funeral service will be at 4 PM Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Vola Brown officiating. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
