Letty New

Letty New, 69, of Freedom Church Rd. in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Delta, Kentucky on September 12, 1941, daughter of the late Edna Dick. She was a homemaker and a member of Eubank Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Carmel New of Eubank, whom she married on May 25, 1959, one son, Darrell & (Nancy) New of Eubank, one daughter, Kim & (Marty) Kazsuk of Russell Springs, KY and two grandchildren, Zackery West and Sydney New, whom she cherished. She is also survived by two sisters, Lora Keith of Bronston and Betty & (George) Troxtell of Somerset and one brother, Milton & (Arlene) Dick of Snohomish, WA. She was preceded in death by her mother and one sister, Lena Mae Brinegar. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds and Bro. Gary New officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. The family requests donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
