Clarence Vaught, 84, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Thomas Hood Veteran Center.
He was born in Pulaski, Kentucky on September 6, 1926, son of the late Arthur and Effie New Vaught. He was owner of Clarence Vaught Real Estate, a Sunoco distributor, operated pallet mills and lumber yards. He was also a Gideon and enjoyed golfing. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Vaught of Lancaster, KY and Debbie & (Bobby) Blevins of Eubank, three brothers, Joe Vaught, Elmo Vaught and Carlos Vaught, all of Eubank, two sisters, Trula Pilcher of Frankfort, KY and Lucille Todd of Eubank, two grandchildren, Frank & (Monica) Hansford and Amy Hansford & (Chris) Meece and one great-grandchild, Kaylee Mize.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Paul, Glen and Desota Vaught and one grandchild, Penny Nicole Hansford.
A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Johnie Waters officiating.
Burial will be in Pulaski Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
The family requests donations to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.
