Florencie (Combs) Raleigh Stamper

Florencie Combs Raleigh Stamper, daughter of the late George and Lulu Adams Combs, was born in Letcher County, Kentucky on December 25, 1922 and departed this life on December 4, 2006 at the age of 83 years. She was a homemaker and a restaurant cook in Isom, Kentucky and of the Jehovah Witness faith. She is survived by three sons, three step sons, four step daughters, fifty-three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Raleigh, her second husband, Isaac Stamper and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Stroud officiating. Burial will be in the Combs Family Cemetery in Letcher County. Visitation will be after 5 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
