Delmas McKinney

Delmas McKinney, son of the late H.K. and Pearlie Warren McKinney, was born in Bandy, Kentucky on December 1, 1917 and departed this life on December 13, 2006 at the age of 89 years. He was a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Jasper McKinney, whom he married on April 9, 1953, four sons, Charles Franklin McKinney of Hamilton, Ohio, Leroy McKinney of the Goodhope community and Eugene McKinney and Eddie McKinney both of the Bandy community, one daughter, Mary Mae Morgan of Middletown, Ohio, a sister, Geneva Marcum of Somerset, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Terry Douglas McKinney, who died in infancy, a daughter, Sandra Diane McKinney, who died in infancy, two brothers, Bill and Junior McKinney and three sisters, Eva Cash, Mary Todd and Jewell Shelley. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Curt Herrington officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
