James Turpin

James Turpin, son of Dennie Turpin and Christine Judge Turpin, was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on January 18, 1957 and departed this life on December 9, 2006 at the age of 49 years. He was a farmer. He is survived by his father, Dennie Turpin of Wilmore, Kentucky, his mother, Christine Judge Turpin of Somerset, four brothers, Howard Turpin of Stanford, Julian Turpin of Waynesburg, Dale & (Gail) Turpin of Waynesburg and Mark & (Trina) Turpin of Science Hill, two sisters, Virginia & (Steve) Ramsey of Science Hill and Dee Ellen & (Michael) Stringer of Richmond and his companion, Beverly Smith of Liberty. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday, December 15, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Powell officiating. Burial will be in Poplarville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
