Ruby N. Campbell

Ruby N. Campbell, daughter of the late Amos and Lillie Smith Nolen, was born in Harris, Kentucky on December 30, 1929 and departed this life on December 14, 2006 at the age of 76 years. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Bascom "Bat" Campbell, whom she married on April 2, 1955, four sisters, Audrey Aills and Martha Stevenson both of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Louella Bloomfield of Urbana, Ohio, Margie Friddle and Dorothy & (Frank) Burton both of Columbus, Ohio and Irene & (Roger) Hamlin of Kings, North Carolina and a brother, Amos Harold & (Tammy) Nolen of Laurel, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Faye Nolen Sartin, Gladys Nolen Dyer, Jessie Nolen Brown and Mildred Nolen Bishop and three sisters who died in infancy, Ines Nolen, Hellen Nolen and Olley Marie Nolen. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Sammy Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Nolen Cemetery in Lewis County, Kentucky. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
