Eva Marie (Roberts) Smith

Eva Marie (Roberts) Smith, 62 of Science Hill, KY, departed this life on Wed., Jan. 16, 2007 at the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY. Born on May 28, 1944 in Pulaski County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Fred B. and Laura F. (Wesley) Roberts. She was a housewife, mother and of the baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Joseph "Joe" Smith, whom she married on Aug. 8, 1961, a son, David Lee & (Twila) Roberts of Science Hill, five brothers, Jimmy, Danny, Hobert, Bob, and Freddy Roberts, all of Science Hill, four sisters, Reva Smith, Irene Wiles, Betty Wiles, and Ivadene Wesley, all of Science Hill and three grandchildren, Ricky Lee, Taylor Pearl, and Haylee Jane Roberts, all of Science Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Deva Kaye Roberts Smith and a brother, Raymond Roberts. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Smith officiating. Burial will be in the McKinney Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
