Geneva Pearl (Smith) Isabell

Geneva Pearl (Smith) Isabell, 82, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Bobtown, Kentucky on November 30, 1924, a daughter of the late Doolin and Flossie Dean (Wesley) Smith. She was a homemaker and attended Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Porter Isabell, whom she married on June 21, 1952, two sons, Wayne & (Reva) Smith of Science Hill and Phil & (Diane) Isabell of Remington, Indiana, one daughter, Ann & (Troy) Hess of Science Hill, six brothers, Harry, Joe, Dee, Frank, Paul and Warren Smith, all of Science Hill, three sisters, Christine Dodson, Mary Wesley and Betty Dodson, all of Science Hill, 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Larry Isabell, one brother, Robert Smith, two sisters, Audrey Acey and Gladys Smith and one grandchild, Joshua Isabell. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Don Berry officiating. Burial will be in McKinney Cemetery, Science Hill. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. The family wishes to acknowledge that these arrangements are the written wishes of our wife and mother, Geneva.
