Alice Pauline Walden, 94, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehab.
She was born June 26, 1930 to the late John and Foxie (Burton) Lockard in Bronston, Kentucky. Alice had a green thumb and loved growing plants and gardening. She enjoyed camping and boating. She loved kids, cooking, and feeding everyone she met. Even when visiting, no one ever left hungry. She was a member of McKinney Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Paul & (Judy) Walden Jr; a daughter in law, Betty Walden; her brothers, James Mack Lockard, Joe Bill Lockard, Jesse Lockard and John D. Lockard; grandchildren, Rick Walden, Kelly Walden, Leisa Ross, Tracy Goldsberry, and David Walden; great grandchildren, Jordan Walden, Jared Walden, Shawna Vanhook, Skyler Swinton, Ethan Ross, Jerrica Krathwohl, Dakota Pruitt, and Nevaeh Walden; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Walden; her son, Richard Thomas Walden; her parents; sisters, Virginia Maxine Brown, Sara Lou Walden, Wanda Faye Marcum, and Linda Mae Lockard; and brother, Jackie Ray Lockard.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Walter Walden officiating.
Burial will be at New Bronston Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 12 PM.
