Benjamin Carl Parsons

Benjamin Carl Parsons, 76, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019.

He was born in Waynesburg, Kentucky on April 9, 1942, son of the late Frank and Mollie Rose Parsons. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and a member of Olive Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Taylor Parsons of Waynesburg; two sons, Michael & (Laura) Parsons of Charlottesville, VA and Kevin & (Teresa) Parsons of Hustonville, KY; two daughters, Karen & (Frank) Campbell of Crestwood, KY and Kelly & (David) Yates of Hustonville, KY; one sister, Joan & (Kenny) Stoops of Indiana; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clarence Parsons; seven sisters, Effie Sims, Pauline McKinney, Leona Sims, Ruby Stogsdill, Ruth Jones, Marie Sanders and Joyce Maybriar.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bert Hall officiating.

Burial will be in Olive Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #18.

Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
