Bobby Lee Preston, age 82, of Science Hill, KY, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at his residence.
He was born September 24, 1941 to the late Hubert & Lela (Coomer) Preston in Danville, KY. Bobby worked for many years as a manager for Winn-Dixie. One of his favorite hobbies was reading, as he often found himself immersed in books. He was also an avid sports fan, enjoying baseball, golf, and University of Kentucky basketball.
He is survived by his two sons, Chris & (Pam) Preston and Brian & (Kristi) Preston; a grandson, Kayden & (Jessica) Preston; a great-grandson, Thatcher Preston; a soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Eva Lucy Preston; and a brother, Don Preston. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Katie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Anita Preston.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 6, 2024 from 10am-12pm at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home for a memorial service.
