Brennies Allen Mofield

Brennies Allen Mofield, 87, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

He was born in the King Bee Community on October 25, 1931; son of the late John Silas and Ruby Edith Warren Mofield. He was a retired farmer and attending King Bee Nazarene Church.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Dye Mofield; three daughters, Brenda Kay & (Jackie) Rainwater of Science Hill, Lorie Rebecca & (Stan) Wilson of Shiley, KS, and Donna Sue Godsey of Somerset; two brothers, Kenneth & (Pauline) Mofield of Cincinnati, OH, and Eddie Mofield of Muncey, IN; two sisters, Geraldine Wiles of Albany, IN, and Doria & (Damon) Owens of Science Hill; two grandchildren, Weston Lane Wilson of Shiley, KS, and Melissa & (Steven) Goings of Shelbina, MO; three great-grandchildren, Shyianna Kaye & (Donald) Hoskins of Somerset, Brittany Goings of Columbia, MO, and Justin Goings of Ozark, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Silas and Ruby Edith Warren Mofield; and a brother, Johnnie Mofield.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Kingry and Judy Lowery officiating.

Burial will be in King Bee Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
