Carlos Lee Vaught, 75, of Eubank passed away Monday July 1, 2019 at the University of Tennessee Hospital.
He was born in Pulaski County, April 16, 1944; son of the late Arthur & Effie Jane (New) Vaught. He had one goal in this life; to serve the Lord, Jesus Christ. He leaves behind to mourn his passing a host of family, friends, and his brothers & sisters in the body of Christ. He loved the Church of God of the Holiness Faith. His Home Church was East London Holiness Church.
He is survived by his wife, Alverine (Wesley) Vaught, whom he married September 18, 1965; two daughters, Sherri & (Daren) Rowland of Kings Mountain and Melissa Vaught of Science Hill; a son, Michael & (Amy) Vaught of Science Hill; six grandchildren, Karla Miller, Israel Mullins, Kasie Mullins, Hannah Vaught, Holly Vaught, & Hunter Vaught; two step-grandchildren, John Keith & Haley Keith; and three great-grandchildren, Issac Smith, Dalton Rowland, & Addison Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Clarence, Glen, Desota, Joe, Paul, Elmo Vaught; two sisters, Trula Pilcher and Edna Lucille Todd; and a granddaughter, Alverine Nicole Mullins.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 5, 2019 at the East London Holiness Church in London with the ministers of the Holiness Faith officiating.
Following services, burial will be in the Sardis Cemetery, Ansel, KY.
Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the East London Holiness Church.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
