Carroll Franklin Taylor

Carroll Franklin Taylor, 84, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at his residence.He was born in Ansel, Kentucky on February 18, 1933, son of the late Doyle and Mary Price Taylor. He was a retired retort operator from Kingsford and a member of Bethelridge United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.He is survived by two daughters, Nancy & (Jerry) Leigh and Ann & (Dan) Engle, two brothers, Edward Taylor and Elbert D. Taylor, all of Science Hill, four grandchildren, Leslie & (Stephen) Haste, Joshua Godbey & (Jessica Meece), Daniel & (Shaina) Engle and Jake Engle, eight great-grandchildren, Zachery Haste, Sarah Haste, Zoey Godbey, Samantha Haste, Joshua Paul Godbey, Danny Engle, Bodie Engle and Grayson Haste and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his wife, Helena Joyce Taylor, who died on November 6, 2013, his parents, four brothers, John, Roy, Ralph and James Taylor and one sister, Jerlene Harness.A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Friday, October 27, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Green officiating.Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38.Visitation will be after 12 Noon Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
