Christine Campbell

Christine Campbell, 82, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018.

She was born in Owsley County, Kentucky on November 21, 1936, daughter of the late Lyndon C. and Lizzie Bowman Wilson. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Julie & (Tony) Raines and Vickie & (Gary) Lanigan, both of Eubank and Yvonne & (Keith) Caudill of Waynesburg, three grandchildren, Denton & (Kaitlyn) Caudill, Jeannie Lanigan and Garrianna & (Nathan) Cooper, great-grandchildren, Kaleb Smith, Mason Smith, Norah Cooper and Abram Cooper, one brother, Tommy R. & (Diane) Wilson, nephew, Lyndon T. Wilson and beloved pets, Pooch and Sweat Pea.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Willis Campbell, whom she married on September 6, 1958 and who died on October 17, 2011, her parents, one son, Edgar Willis Campbell, II and one sister, Lucy Opal Smallwood.

A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Monday, December 31, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith Caudill, Denton Caudill, Tommy Wilson, D.J. Mitchell, Clay Hubble and Nathan Cooper. Honorary pallbearers will be Melvin Caudill, Kevin Caudill, Tony Raines, Gary Lanigan, Kaleb Smith and Mason Smith.

Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home
