Cole William Lanigan, 35, of Winchester, passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
He was born February 13, 1987 in Somerset; son of Patrick William & (Regina) Lanigan of Waynesburg and Tammy Kay & (Jamie) Board of Highland. He was a 2005 graduate of Lincoln County High School, a 2009 graduate of Centre College, and a 2014 graduate of Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Cole was a musician, an artist, an attorney, and a beloved son, brother, husband, and father.
He is survived by his parents; his wife, Brandi; five children, Liam, Alannah, Traven, Donielle, and Tayler; three brothers, Ryan & (Renee) Lanigan of Stanford, Eric Board of Junction City, and Nathanael Blosser of Waynesburg; two nephews, Aiden and Asher Lanigan; a grandmother, Billie Jean Lanigan of Waynesburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Cole is preceded in death by three grandparents, Patrick Hugh Lanigan, Gene Larry Dungan, and Anna Lee Dungan and an aunt, Lisa J. Denney.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Vola Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
