Daniel Joe Davidson "Danny Boy" Salvador, 42, of Waynesburg, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022 at his residence.
He was born September, 25, 1979 in Panorama City, California; son of Danny & Debra (Grant) Salvador. He worked as maintenance for Walmart in Castle Rock, Colorado. Danny Boy was a kind, gentle soul who never met a stranger. He wore a warm, happy smile everywhere he went. Family was very important to him. He valued his familial connections and friendships. Family dinners, going to the movies, and backyard barbecues with those he loved were some of his favorite pastimes. On any given day if you asked him what he was doing, you would often hear him say, "Oh, I'm just chillin". The words "Just Chillin" truly embraced his character that we all knew and loved; he was a simple, easy going, friendly, likable kind of guy.
To his sister, Danny was the epitome of strength, courage, perseverance, and unbridled optimism. Danny reminded us all of one of life's most priceless lessons. The lesson that no time is promised and wellness and health are never a guarantee. He reminded us to cherish the loved one's in our lives. To cherish them now, cherish them today, as tomorrow may never come. Danny's young beautiful spirit was cherished by all and will be forever missed.
He was a loving Uncle who enjoyed spending time with his nephews; whether it be going to IHOP, football games, or karate. He was a doting father who loved sharing stories about his sons; taking them to the park and going out for Chinese food.
The good Lord above must be short of angels, because he picked our son to join him in heaven. Danny Boy was loved by many; he will now be missed by many.
May the good Lord be with you down every road you roam. May the sunshine and happiness surround you when you're far from home. And when you finally fly away, I'll be hoping that I served you well. - Rod Stewart, "Forever Young"
God bless you Danny Boy.
He is survived by his parents; two sons, Nathaniel and Brandon, both of Oklahoma City; a sister, Monica Witherell of Colorado; and a his second mom, Theresa Grant of Waynesburg.
