Daniel Walker

Daniel "Danny" Walker, 68, of Science Hill, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.

 

He was born November 15, 1952 in Somerset; son of Vernell (McQueen) Walker of Somerset and the late Howard "Doc" Walker. He worked in retail as a salesman.

 

He is survived by his mother; his wife, Gloria (Maestas) Walker; two sons, Wesley Walker of Somerset and Joshua Walker of New Mexico; two brothers, Howard & (Sharon) Walker and Morris & (Bernetta) Walker, both of Somerset; a sister, Laverne & (Gordon) Wiles of Somerset; and a granddaughter, Evelyn Rose Walker.

 

He is preceded in death by his father.

 

A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Father Danny Taylor officiating.

 

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
