Dean Surber, 77, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018.
He was born in Estesburg, Kentucky on November 10, 1940, son of the late Herman R. and Glennis Hackney Surber. He was a farmer. Dean loved Kentucky basketball and watching westerns.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Kidd Surber, whom he married on October 5, 1970, one daughter, Paula E. Surber, both of Eubank and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Thad Eubank and Bro. Kenny Dalton officiating.
Burial will be in Griffin Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 AM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donation to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Griffin Cemetery Fund.
