Dewey Leon Gossett, 68, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away from this life on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at his residence.
Dewey was born on November 30, 1955 to the late Dewey Gossett. He loved to fish, play golf, and ride motorcycles. He was a member of Parkers Mill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gossett; two daughters, Kelly Gossett of Oman and Dana Turner of Shopville; a sister, Cheryl & (Donnie) Ping of Somerset; four grandchildren, Erika Turner, Emily Turner, Gabe Alshidi and Adam Alshidi; a brother-in-law, Danny Hughes; and his mother, Wilma.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Kathy Hughes.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 1 PM at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating.
The family will receive friends starting at 10 AM until time of services.
