Donald Dungan

Donald Joe Dungan, 70, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

Donald was born to Billy Joe Dungan & Doris (Keeney) Loeser on October 13, 1954 in Somerset, Kentucky. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. Donald was an avid hunter of arrowheads and indian artifacts.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Wilson) Dungan, whom he married on December 3, 1975; his mother, Doris (Keeney) Loeser of Science Hill; his daughters, Ashley Dungan Phelps of Somerset and Amber (D.T.) Dungan Boon of Richmond, KY; five grandchildren, Macy Phelps, Brynley Phelps, Kane Phelps, Lyla Boon, and Tinsley Boon; and a brother, Jeff Dungan of Charleston, SC.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A private funeral service will be held at 1PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Rick Sexton officiating.

A private burial will be at Freedom Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11AM until time for services.
