Edward "Rocky" Fletcher Carr III

Edward "Rocky" Fletcher Carr III, 67, of Ft. Collins, Colorado, formerly of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017.He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on March 13, 1950, son of the late Edward F. Carr II and Fanny Mae Hall Carr Waits.  He was a retired Chief of Security with the U.S. Air Force Police and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.He is survived by one son, Edward "Rocky" Montez-Carr of Las Vegas, NV, two daughters, Starr Baines of Italy and Stephanie Phillips of Ft. Collins, CO, two sisters, Susan Carr of Denver, CO and Julie Cahoon of Parker, CO and three grandchildren, Madeleine Baines, Sam Baines and Mason Cashman.He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Gossett Carr and his parents.A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jason King officiating.Burial will be in Hall Cemetery.A reception will follow the burial at The Center for Rural Development.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
