Evelyn Pauline Wesley

Evelyn Pauline Wesley, 89, of the King Bee Community, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the Somerset Nursing & Rehab Facility.

She was born September 5, 1930 in Science Hill; daughter of the late Millard & Mae (Jones) Tilley. She was a member of Center Post United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family, crocheting, and taking care of her flowers.

She is survived by two sons, Larry & (Shirley) Wesley of Science Hill and G.K. & (Marcy) Wesley of Williamsburg, Ohio; two daughters, Donnia & (Ed) Smith of Bradenton, Florida and Gail McKinney of Science Hill; seven grandchildren, Donita Ross, Douglas Wesley, Erin Smith, Sara Smith, Amy May Beth Godbey, & Jacob McKinney; thirteen great-grandchildren, Dylan Schenkel, Dustin Wesley, Brendon Ross, Dawson Wesley, Daulton Wesley, Austin Wilson, Halie Ware, Sophia May Christian Godbey, Carlee Godbey, Cameron Godbey, Aspen McKinney, & Lilli McKinney; and one great-great-grandson, Knox Wesley; one sister, Della Ann Nichols of Science Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gladstone Wesley, to whom she married on May 6, 1946 until his passing on December 5, 1992; an infant daughter, Sandra Wesley; four brothers Ray, Lawrence, Ronnie, & Charlie; and four sisters, Opal, Eyvonne, Imogene, & Geraldine.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, August 14, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Young officiating.

Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
