Fayrene Thurman

Fayrene Thurman, 84, of Somerset, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on February 2, 1936 in Somerset; daughter of the late Herman and Bernice Bell Hudson. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim New of Somerset; two brothers, Roy Hudson of Indianapolis, and Charlie Hudson of Burnside; three sisters, Rosealee Hemphill of Burnside, Darlene Strunk of Tateville, Ernestina Thompson Johnston of Lexington; three grandchildren, Shane Thurman, Carman Smith, and Kasey Renfro; eight great-grandchildren, Alex, Meleah, Natacia, Landon, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Logan, and Ashton; and a daughter-in-law, Alma Thurman.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruth Ann Thurman; three sons, Russell Thurman, Clifford Thurman, and Kenny Thurman; her parents; and a grandchild, Keith Hyde.
