Frank Adams (Junior) passed from this life to his heavenly home Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Junior was born October 7, 1937 in Shopville, Kentucky to Frank and Okel (Baker) Adams. Junior married Roberta Estep on July 13, 1957. They enjoyed 67 years of marriage until her passing only 7 weeks ago. He was the owner of Juniors Adams Body Shop and loved working on and making cars. Junior was a very giving person who was always willing to help anyone, even strangers. Anytime he had the opportunity, he wouldn't pass up inviting someone to church. Junior was a christian and a faithful member of Eden Baptist Church until his health no longer allowed him to attend.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Rosa Lee Adams and Edith Dozier Patterson; one sister, Justine Dugger; and three brothers, Cecil, Leroy, and Jim Adams.
Junior is survived by two daughters, Ruby (Danny) Jasper and Melissa (Brad) Hall, and son-in-law, Buster Patterson; one brother, Wayne Adams; and three sisters, Imogene Jasper, Linda Mitchell, and Brenda Harris.
Also surviving him are four granddaughters, Jessica (April) Jasper, Brianna (Nick) Phelps, Hannah (Aaron) Eldridge, and Laura (Dominic) Dye and nine great-grandchildren, Jensen and Lynnox Jasper, Holden and Elie Mae Anderson, Hunter and Eli Watkins, Blaise and Jordyn Eldridge, and Jay Whitt.
The family wishes to thank Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and especially Sommerwoods Nursing Home for the loving care they took of Junior and Bert Adams.
A memorial service will be held at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 6pm-8pm.
