Franklin Delano Roosevelt Fouts, 79, of Eubank, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 20, 2024.
Franklin was born on June 11, 1945 to the late Henry Bradley & Alta (Caudill) Fouts in Skyline, Kentucky. He was raised in Letcher County, Kentucky. Franklin was an Army Veteran and served his country from 1964-1967. During his time in the Army, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He was a retired Coal Miner of 30+ years. Franklin was a Pastor of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. He loved spending his time fishing, hunting, farming and gardening. He especially loved spending time with his grandbabies.
He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 57 years, Betty (Reynolds) Fouts; his son, Kevin Delano Fouts; his daughters, Tammy Renee (Phillip) Pittman, Tonya Lynne (Bill) Bates, and Tracie Nicole Howard; and his two grandchildren, Clay Daniel Howard and Carlee Faith Howard.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents and nine siblings.
A graveside service will be held at 3PM on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Science Hill Cemetery with Military Honors being performed by American Legion Post 38.
The family will receive friends from 1PM until time for services at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
