Fred Junior Haste, 67, of Bethelridge, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022.
He was born October 23, 1955, in Eubank; son of the late Vurnes & Betty Louise (Wesley) Haste. He worked as a farmer and as a Truck Driver for Jon Anderson Trucking. He was saved and Baptized with his mom, many years ago. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Yosemite, Kentucky. Fred enjoyed farming, whether for himself or someone else. He will be laid to rest with his dog, Annie. He was one that never met a stranger. He loved to share his love of his savior with everyone he met.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Denney) Haste, to whom he was married on April 15, 2005; a son, Scott Haste of Science Hill; a step-son, Dylan Haste, of Bethelridge; two daughters, Shelia Gregory of Science Hill and Tessa Haste of Somerset; four brothers, Vurnes "Dee" & (Helen) Haste of Bardstown, Hershel & (Judy) Haste of Science Hill, James Thomas "Tank" & Rose Haste of Somerset; and Donald “Donnie” Eugene Haste of Bronston; two sisters, Geraldine Hines of the Pulaski Community and Nadeen & (Danny) Worley of Bronston; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ross, Lonnie, and Archie Haste; and five sisters, Dorothy Anderson, Mae Wesley, Aldie Ridings, and Barbara & Diane Haste.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Haste and Bro. David Green officiating.
Burial will be in Cabell Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2022, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
