Fred C. Meece, 77, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at his residence.
He was born in Drum, Kentucky on July 12, 1941, son of the late Alonzo and Ora Meece. He was a retired truck driver for Warner Fertilizer and a member of King Bee Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn L. Maddox Meece of Science Hill, five sons, Danny R. & (Rosie) Meece, Dennis Meece, Darrell & (Janie) Scruggs, all of Somerset, Bodie & (Bonnie) Scruggs of Morehead, KY and Marty & (Sherry) Scruggs of Somerset, three daughters, Dana K. & (Tommy) Tallent of Byrdstown, TN, Teresa & (Dwayne) Clark of Somerset and Cathy & (Billi) Orr of Kissimmee, FL, one sister, Teenie Whitis of Somerset, brother-in-law, Jesse Randolph, twenty six grandchildren, fifty nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Dickie W. Meece, one sister, Jean Randolph and brother-in-law, Charles Whitis.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Dalton and Bro. Eric Vaught officiating.
Burial will be in King Bee Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 11 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
