Harold Edward York

Harold Edward York, 88, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington.

 

He was born April 25, 1932 in Eubank; son of the late Henry & Isabelle (Bullock) York. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, having served 20 years as a Technical Sergeant.

 

He is survived by three sons, Paul & (Abbigail) York of Eubank, Douglas & (Rhonda) York of Florida, and Denver & (Cindy) York of Florida; two daughters, Diane & Vicki York; eleven grandchildren, Brooklyn, Tristen, Amber, Ashley, Chance, Matthew, Meagan, Jesse, Michael, Katie, & Keisha; and six great-grandchildren, Roman, Emmy Lou, Rowland Douglas, Kobie, Willow, & Noah.

 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Takako "Emmy" (Igarashi) York; two brothers, Andrew & Raymond York; and two sisters, Mildred & Jessamay.

 

A Funeral Service will be held 3:30 PM Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Dusty York & Bro. Carson Atwood officiating.

 

Burial will be in Etna Cemetery.

 

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post # 38.

 

Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Friday, March 26, 2021 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
