Henry A. Denney

Henry A. Denney, 76, of Waynesburg, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021 at Ft. Logan Hospital.

 

He was born in Lincoln Co., Kentucky on October 1, 1945; son of the late Clarence and Latitia (Neal) Denney. He was a retired wood worker. He was a member of Beulah First Church of God.

 

He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Mullins) Denney; two sons, Henry R. & (Peggy) Denney, and Jeffrey  Denney & (Sherry Coleman); a daughter, Melissa Thompson & (Ray Whitler); three sisters, Mary & (Larry) Thompson, Alice Bailey, and Pauline Harp; six grandchildren; and twenty one great-grandchildren. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Verla Hodge, Myrtle Mullins, and Allene Hodge; three brothers, Robert Denney, Johnny Denney, and Billy Denney.

 

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Sister Jessica Hall officiating.

 

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Monday, November 29, 2021 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

 

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
