Hunter Ray Denney-Wesley

Hunter Ray Denney-Wesley, 12, and his dog Pugley of Science Hill, Kentucky, went to be with Jesus together on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at their residence.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on October 20, 2006, son of Ralph Tyrone and Ashley Denney Wesley. His families loving nickname for him was Hunter Bug. He was a 6th grade student at Science Hill Independent School. He always had a smile and loved to talk. He loved his dog Pugley, playing his favorite video game Fortnite and other video games. He was a loving, giving, very intelligent boy that had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. He loved picking on his little sister, Tylee and his cousin, Logan. Hunter was always joking and making people laugh. He was very special to everyone.

He is survived by his parents, Tyrone and Ashley Wesley, sister, Tylee Raelynn Wesley, paternal papaw and mamaw, Ralph and Tammy Wesley, maternal papaw and mamaw, James and Connie Denney, paternal great-grandparents, Betty Smith Dodson, "mamaw granny" and Earl Jones, maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Betty West, aunt and uncles, Tonya Wesley and Justin Nicholas, Chris and Cheyenne Denney and Marvin Denney, along with special aunt and uncle, Bonnie and Cricket Campbell, special cousins, Logan Wesley, Cheyenne Dykes and Greyson Flores. He is also survived by a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Earl and Bessie Wesley and Jimmie Dodson, maternal great-grandparents, Ray and Dorothy M. Bradshaw and James Marvin Denney, great-uncles, David Wesley and Randy Lee Denney and the family pets, Pugley, Boomer, Gypsy and Sam.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Harley Davidson and Bro. Don Berry officiating.

Burial will be in McKinney Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 4 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
