Irene Moore Carter

Irene Moore Carter, 66, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017.She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on April 7, 1951, daughter of the late Homer Lewis and Barthella Barber Moore. She was a homemaker and attended Shady Grove United Methodist Church.She is survived by one son, Robert Holtzclaw, one daughter, Christy & (Bill) Young, one brother, Randy & (Melissa) Moore, two sisters, Iva Dean Holtzclaw and Donna Joyce Bogle and grandchildren, Joshua Koger, Samantha Koger, Amanda Marie Holtzclaw, Ashleigh Megan Holtzclaw, Austin Marshall Holtzclaw, Robert Dakota Holtzclaw and Peyton Charles Marvin Holtzclaw, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Holtzclaw, her parents and one brother, Steve Moore.A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Lester Randolph and Bro. Cecil Bowling.Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
