James Estil Doolin

James Estil Doolin, 68, of Eubank, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

He was born January 21, 1955 in Somerset; son of the late Curtis Nelson & Fredia Lucille (Carlton) Doolin. Over the years he worked as a farmer and at sawmills. James enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting old money, going to auctions, and spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Cora Ellen (Ellison) Doolin of Eubank, to whom he was married June 7, 1975; his kids, Angela & (Roger) Price of Shopville, Jamie & (Angelia) Doolin of Waynesburg, Teresa & (Brian) Hawk of Eubank, Jeffrey & (Kirstin) Doolin of Eubank, and Fredia May & (Benjiman) Snow of Eubank; siblings, Arnold Ray, Arlin, David, Judy, and Mary Doolin, and Donna Ellison; grandkids, Jamie & (Brooklyn) Price of Eubank, Austin Daniel Price of Shopville, Brooke & Kristin Doolin of Waynesburg, Hannah & Jacob Napier of Waynesburg, Charles, Scott, & Brandon Hawk of Eubank, Waylyn & Cayleigh Doolin of Eubank; and great-grandchildren, Aria, Addilyn, Brinlee, and Jayden.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Terrel Wayne Doolin; and a grandchild, Isaiah Snow.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Duncan officiating.

Burial will be in the Ellison-King Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
