James McKinney

James McKinney, 59, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

James was born on October 5, 1965 to the late Leroy and Rosemary (Limp) McKinney in Dayton, Ohio. He worked at Walmart as a Stocker for many years. James was of the Baptist Faith. He was an avid collector, especially of Hot Wheels, coins, and bottles. James was a UK Basketball and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his wife, April (Taylor) McKinney; his son, Bryce James McKinney; his daughter, Chasity McKinney; a brother, Bruce (Brenda) McKinney; and a sister, Aimee McKinney-Miracle.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, David McKinney.

A funeral service will be held 12 PM on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Cloud officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11AM until time for services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy in the form of donations to the James McKinney Memorial Fund c/o Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
